We had a fabulous weekend with Josh, Alexis and family. We ate, went to Valley Worlds of Fun, ate some more, replaced our car's brakes (not part of the plan) and we stayed up late playing this:
Anyone play Settlers out there? It's the funnest game ever and we haven't played in ages. It reminded me of the good ole days while we lived in Utah and played at least once a week with Kelly and Eric til early hours in the morning.
And last, but not least, Memorial Day wouldn't be memorial day with out a little BBQ action. So we went over to our friends house, The Curtis's, and ate more yummy food! (Thanks guys for inviting us!) The kids had a blast and the weather was perfect all weekend. Now it's back to rain.

It looks like you guys had a great weekend, Julia! It is always fun to have someone to stay up late playing games with. We are looking forward to the reunion in July...maybe we can get some good games in then!

Settlers is an all time Johnson favorite. What a blast!

I'm glad that Josh and Alexis live close enough to make a 3 day weekend into visiting family. I know how much you all love to play settlers so you better bring that along when you come to visit!! Can't wait to have you come to California for a visit and give me a grandkid fix!!
I always get a little sad when I miss out on the gatherings. Glad you had a great memorial weekend. I think it is so cute to see the cousins together.

Too bad we couldn't play, too. We still haven't found competition as good as you and Jacob (yep, we're still Settler's snobs!). As for the tallies on the box, it's a good thing we didn't keeo track of the early games or you guys would have put us to shame!!

Which settlers have you played??? We love those games... Rob's family has this trend going with this game. We used to play it every holiday we were gathered together. Love those games!
